Summer Reading
Please download the Summer Reading that applies to you and be prepared to turn in the books and materials to your English teacher on the date assigned. Summer reading and writing is a requirement of your education, not an option. You must complete this work.
***Note: each course has its own due date (for example, ALL AP Language assignments are due Aug. 11 to turnitin.com, even for spring semester students). Read the instructions for your course carefully.
In Lit/Comp 9, students have a choice of several books to read. Students need to read their own chosen book as well as the assigned book for American and World Literature. For Lit/Comp 12, students read a contemporary novel and have a current events assignment. The AP classes read from their lists of assigned texts.
