DHS Student Media Festival
Each year in March, students submit work in the areas of Animation, Live Action, Song, and Sequential Still (with and without audio). All entries must be original student work. The submissions are featured in the DHS Student Media Festival, held the last Tuesday in March. From a judges panel, winners from this event, will go on to represent Decatur High School in the Georgia State Media Festival. High scores from the state are encourage to submit to the International Student Media Festival.
The purpose of all student media festivals is to stimulate student interest and involvement in all types of media production.
The 2010 DHS Student Media Festival will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. The entire community will be invited. An informative meeting for this event is Tuesday, December 15th from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Interested student should attend this meeting as they will be asked to sign an intent form for the festival.
