Class of 2012 Update (3/11/10)
- Class Dues of $75 are still being collected!! (see below for details)
- Students are reminded to pick up their class t-shirts from Mrs. Keith-Ott in the Art room.
- Prom venues are still being explored by our class officers - selection and a downpayment must be made soon.
- Do you and your teen know about the DHS Community Service Recognition program? (see link at end of page)
- A parent meeting will be held after Spring Break - stay tuned for more info later.

Why dues are collected:
- Down payment to secure Prom 2011 Venue (this is very expensive and site needs to be secured soon)
- Class T-shirts for every student (174 Sophomores)
- Float building supplies and Homecoming Dance needs (decorations, DJ)

If you are new to the system, once you enter your email it will open up a window with a variety of newsletters to choose. Be sure and put a check by Team 2012 to get announcements specific to this year's Sophomore Class. Please check site often for pertinent updates.
This year we hope to have opportunities for adults to get together for camaraderie and commiseration. Look for future emails about events and be thinking of things you want to learn concerning Decatur High, teens, college and beyond. Topics and speakers for meetings can be varied and personalized to our needs. School Counselors as well as outside experts can be brought in to meet with us. If you have any ideas for speakers or topics you want to discuss, please don't hesitate to contact me via email or phone 404 373-0422.
