Community Woodworking Class

Are you interested in learning woodworking or honing your skills? The Decatur Career Academy is excited to host a series of Community Woodworking Classes, offering hands-on experience with both hand tools and power tools!

Choose from 5 Fun Projects to create beautiful and functional pieces for your home or as gifts.

  • Dovetail Jewelry Box with Tray
  • Bench Top Bench
  • 18th Century Desktop Chest of Drawers
  • Tool Chest with Drawers

Class Schedule & Dates:

Come on the days that fit your schedule!

  • Tuesday & Thursday Evenings: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    • April 14th-May 14th
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • April 24th and 25th
    • May 8th and May 9th
  • You do not need to attend all classes

     

What's Included:

  • All projects utilize a mix of hand tools and power tools.

  • All tools and materials are provided.

  • Prices range from $300 – $950 (depending on the project chosen).
